You May Not See It Yet, But God Is Not Finished

📖 Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Introduction

Have you ever reached a point where you simply felt tired?

Tired of praying.
Tired of waiting.
Tired of believing for the same thing.

You may have prayed about it for months or even years, and nothing seems to have changed. You look around and see other people receiving their breakthroughs, while you are still waiting.

And quietly, you may find yourself asking:

“Lord, how much longer?”

If that is where you are today, this message is for you:

Don’t give up. God is still working.

Just because you cannot see what God is doing does not mean He is doing nothing.

You May Not See It, But God Is Working

We often judge God's activity by what we can see.

If the door opens, we say, “God is working.”

If the answer comes, we say, “God heard my prayer.”

But what about when nothing appears to be happening?

Faith teaches us that God can be working in places we cannot see.

A seed planted in the ground does not immediately become a tree. For a while, everything appears quiet. But underneath the soil, roots are developing.

Your waiting season may be a root-building season.

God may be developing your character, strengthening your faith, preparing your heart, or arranging circumstances that you cannot yet see.

Don't Quit Before Your Harvest

Galatians 6:9 tells us:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Notice those words:

“In due season.”

There is a season for planting and a season for harvesting.

The problem is that we often want the harvest immediately after planting.

But God understands seasons.

Don't dig up your seed because you are frustrated that you haven't seen the harvest yet.

Keep praying.

Keep believing.

Keep obeying.

Keep serving.

Keep trusting.

Your due season is in God's hands.

Joseph Didn't Give Up

Joseph received a dream from God, but his journey looked nothing like the promise at first.

He was betrayed by his brothers.

He was sold into slavery.

He was falsely accused.

He was imprisoned.

Imagine being Joseph and looking at your circumstances.

The dream God gave him probably seemed impossible.

But God was working.

The prison wasn't the end of Joseph's story.

Eventually, God brought him from the prison to the palace.

What Joseph could not see while he was suffering was that God was positioning him for his purpose.

The delay was not the death of the dream.

Hannah Kept Praying

Hannah knew what it meant to wait for something deeply desired.

Year after year, she carried the pain of being without a child.

Yet Hannah continued to bring her heart before God.

Eventually, God answered her prayer and gave her Samuel.

Her story reminds us that God hears prayers even when the answer doesn't come immediately.

Perhaps you've been praying for something for a long time.

Don't assume that silence means God has stopped listening.

Keep praying.

What If God Is Preparing You?

Sometimes we focus so much on what we're waiting for that we forget to ask:

“God, what are You developing in me while I wait?”

Perhaps God is developing patience.

Perhaps He's strengthening your faith.

Perhaps He's healing something within you.

Perhaps He's preparing you for responsibilities you are not yet ready to carry.

Sometimes God has to prepare us for the blessing before He releases the blessing.

Don't despise the preparation season.

Don't Compare Your Journey

Comparison can make us want to give up.

You see someone else's breakthrough and wonder:

"When will it be my turn?"

But God has not forgotten you simply because He is blessing someone else.

Their chapter is not your chapter.

Their timing is not your timing.

Their journey is not your journey.

Celebrate what God is doing for others, while trusting Him with your own story.

Your turn does not have to look like somebody else's turn.

What Should You Do When You're Tired?

Rest! But don't quit.

It's okay to admit that you're tired.

Bring your exhaustion to God.

Pray! Even when your prayer is simple.

Sometimes all you can say is, “Jesus, help me.”

That's still a prayer.

Remember what God has already done.

Your past victories are reminders of His faithfulness.

Keep doing what God has called you to do.

Don't abandon your purpose because you're experiencing a difficult season.

Trust God's timing.

You may not understand the timing, but you can trust the One who holds it.

Your Story Isn't Over

Perhaps you're reading this today and you're close to giving up.

Maybe you've experienced disappointment after disappointment.

Maybe you've prayed and wondered whether your prayers are reaching heaven.

Maybe you're tired of hearing, “Just keep waiting.”

But I want to encourage you:

Don't give up.

Your story isn't over.

Your promise isn't cancelled.

Your purpose hasn't disappeared.

And God has not abandoned you.

There may be things happening behind the scenes that you cannot see.

Keep walking.

Keep trusting.

Keep believing.

God is still working.

Final Encouragement

One day, you may look back at this season and understand why God didn't answer when you expected Him to.

You may realise that the waiting prepared you.

The disappointment strengthened you.

The closed door redirected you.

The difficult season matured you.

And the prayers you thought were unanswered were actually part of a greater story.

So don't quit now.

You may be closer than you think.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us that we will reap if we do not faint.

Keep going.

God is still writing your story.

God is still working.

And your due season is coming. 🌷

Prayer

Oh My Loving Heavenly Father,

I pray for every person reading this who feels tired, discouraged, or ready to give up.

Lord, strengthen them where they are weak. Give them fresh hope where they have become discouraged and renewed faith where they have begun to doubt.

Help them remember that silence does not mean You are absent and delay does not mean You have forgotten them.

Teach them to trust You in the waiting.

Help them not to compare their journey with anyone else's. Give them grace to continue walking in obedience, even when they cannot see the outcome.

Father, remind them that You are still working behind the scenes.

Give them strength to keep praying, courage to keep believing, and patience to wait for Your perfect timing.

May they not faint before their due season.

If you're tired today, take a breath.

You don't have to have everything figured out.

You don't have to know exactly when the answer will come.

Just keep trusting God one day at a time.

Don't give up.

The God who brought you this far has not left you now.
