Woman of Virtue Blog Series: Faith, Purpose & Encouragement for Women

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and incredible impact of women around the world. International Women’s Day is a powerful reminder of the value, dignity, and unique contributions women bring to families, communities, and society.

This year’s theme, “Rights, Justice, and Action for All Women and Girls,” calls us to reflect on the importance of creating a world where every woman and girl has access to opportunity, equality, and a safe environment to grow and thrive. Women play many vital roles, leaders, mothers, mentors, caregivers, innovators, and change-makers. Each role carries influence and purpose. When women are empowered, communities are strengthened and future generations are inspired.

International Women’s Day is also a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women around the world. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the unique calling and purpose that God has placed within every woman.

Throughout the Bible, we see powerful examples of women who walked boldly in faith. Women such as Esther, Ruth, Deborah, and Mary remind us that God uses women in extraordinary ways to fulfill His divine plans.

Every woman carries value, dignity, and purpose. When a woman walks in faith and embraces the calling God has placed on her life, she becomes a source of encouragement and transformation within her family, community, and generation.

A Prayer for Women 

Our Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift and blessing of womanhood, for the strength, wisdom, and compassion You have placed within each women around the world.

Father, empower every woman to walk confidently in the purpose You have prepared for her. Fill her with courage, wisdom, and faith as she navigates life’s journey.

May she know her true value and identity in you. Remind her that she is valued, chosen, and loved by You. Strengthen her spirit, guide her steps, and use her life to inspire others.

Let every woman rise in faith, walk in dignity, and purpose as she reflects Your love and light in the world.
